Step-by-Step Guide

1. Set Up Your Collection

First, let's create a home for your coaching content:

  • Sign in to your Tough Tongue AI coach account
  • Navigate to the Library section
  • Click Create Collection and provide:
    • Collection name (e.g., "Executive Leadership Mastery")
    • Clear description of your course objectives
    • Visibility settings (public or private)

2. Add Your Course Content

Tough Tongue AI lets you add two types of content:

AI Scenarios:

  • These are interactive sessions where AI agent engages your learners
  • You can pick from premade scenarios or create your own custom scenario

Website or Video Links:

  • Use URLs from Loom, YouTube, or other video platforms
  • Important: Ensure your video URL does not contain any extra parameters
  • Label the video (for example, Intro) so learners know what they're watching

3. Organize Your Content

Reorder Your Items:

  • Arrange your course content in the order you want your learners to experience it
  • For example, start with the introductory video and follow with the AI interviewer scenario
  • Save the order to lock in your sequence

Search & Update:

  • As you add more scenarios or content, you (or your audience) can easily search for specific parts of the course

4. Enhance Learning with Interactive Scenarios

Create Custom Scenarios:

  • Use the "Create Custom" option to design scenarios tailored to your course
  • Provide clear instructions and context for the AI. For example, if teaching the STAR method, include what the method is and how it should be applied

Supplement with Additional Resources:

  • Attach PDFs, blog links, or Google Docs that contain additional context or transcript details
  • This extra material helps the AI understand your course content better and provide richer guidance

5. Publish and Share Your Course

Finalize Your Collection:

  • Double-check all the content and the order in which it appears

Share with Your Audience:

  • Once everything is set, share your collection link with your students or customers
  • Use the "Play All" feature to let learners experience the course seamlessly from start to finish

How to write a good quality prompt for scenarios?

Scenario input decides three key things:

  • Role of the AI agent including tone it takes and how it behaves
  • The agenda of the conversation that AI agent will follow
  • Evaluation criteria for the conversation

Tips to create good prompts for AI agent role and agenda:

  • Use "You are ..." to set the role of the AI agent. Whenever possible, also give a tone: positive, obnoxious, humorous, skeptical, etc.
  • For agenda, you can add list of questions that AI agent will ask and how it should probe/follow up
  • Add examples based on the role and agenda through context (PDF document, blog post link, YouTube video link, etc.)
  • If no scoring criteria is provided, AI evaluates general professionalism and communication skills

What outcome or final product of Human-AI coordinated coaching will look like?

  • Course: Craft full-fledged courses that seamlessly blend your insight with AI-driven practice. For example, Product Management interview course where you deliver key lessons and AI offers practice and ideation

  • Coaching package: This will be a combination 1:1 session with you and AI. For example, 5 interviews with AI and then 1:1 session with you. Given AI would have already conducted some session, you can reviews session recordings and transcripts, provides deep insights on areas for improvement, and conducts targeted mock interviews.

  • Simulations: Develop scenario-based modules that immerse learners in real-world situations, enhancing their practical skills. Example: A series of simulations focusing on workplace conversations or casual small talk.
